As the nights are getting colder, it’s the perfect time to escape the wintery weather at this North Adelaide pub.
The Kentish has just launched its new winter menu (and yes, it is suddenly very tempting to leave our desks and head straight there).
With delicious sounding mains like the delectable Thai chicken salad or the sumptuous lamb shanks, our home brought lunches suddenly seem very subpar.
The new menu offers diners a modern mix of options with a wide range of dishes, including braised lamb shank with a chickpea tagine and tahini yoghurt.
The menu also includes an enormous 500g ribeye steak with crushed kipflers and red chimichurri, and for the vegetarians, an amazing tofu burger with asian slaw and peanut sauce.
If you’re looking to head out for a classic pub meal, the menu still has your favourites on offer, including chicken schnitzel with a pepper or mushroom sauce and a beer battered flathead.
While these dishes could stand on their own, the pub is also offering diners various specials on different days of the week.
On Monday night it’s Rump & Red, and customers can order a 300-gram rump steak with a glass of red for $22.
On Tuesday it’s Trivia Night, so as well as bringing your appetite, you will also need your competitive spirit. The Kentish is offering two mains for the price of one to enjoy whilst you battle the competition in their cosy wine shed.
Wednesdays come with lamb shank and a glass of shiraz for $22, and on Thursdays you can grab a plate of pasta with a glass of pinot for the same price.
As well as these daily specials, The Kentish is offering a Winter Warmer special throughout the season. This special includes two main meals and a bottle of The Kentish house wine for only $58.
The new menu provides the perfect opportunity to try everything this cosy pub has to offer.
