Model and influencer Alexandra Saint Mleux (now Leclerc), tied the knot with Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc over the weekend in a picturesque Monaco location. She was dressed head to toe in an elegant custom South Australian designed Paolo Sebastian gown to match the location’s opulence.

Born in Monaco himself, F1 driver Charles Leclerc returned to the bucket-list destination to host this post-card worthy wedding, but it was Alexandra who really stole the show.

Looking timeless in a ‘French Chantilly lace fishtail gown’, the bride-to-be stunned in a custom design straight from the creative genius of homegrown talent, Paul Vasileff, creative director of Paolo Sebastian.

Having previously dressed a number of fashion and celebrity icons such as Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Sydney Sweeney, Adut Akech, Anya Taylor-Joy and Taylor Swift, designing Alexandra’s gown is another feather in the cap for Vasileff. His inimitable vision and style has cemented Paolo Sebastian as not only just one of the most sought after wedding designers in Australia, but in the world – and we are privileged to call him our own.

Having learned to sew at the age of three in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide, Vasileff was destined to become a world-renowned designer. His label, Paolo Sebastian, was founded in 2007, debuting with a collection of hand-sewn gowns from the then-17 year-old Paul.

His uncompromising vision and exceptional eye for elegance would go on to propel his career to meteoric heights, taking this Adelaide brand to the world’s stage. Paul has stated that Paolo Sebastian’s signature aesthetic – featuring elegant draping, delicate tulle, French lace, and romantic silhouettes – is inspired by fairytales, making him a dream designer for brides seeking the wedding they’ve always dreamed of.

This specific Paolo Sebastian piece features a ‘scalloped neckline, delicately adorned with three-dimensional floral and butterfly embellishments, and finished with bespoke embroidered initials and their wedding date’.

Leclerc himself was dressed the part, adorned in a cream-white suit, whilst their beloved Dachshund Leo, appeared equally dapper in a tuxedo.

While the couple’s private nature has left many details of the wedding scarce, beautiful vintage-inspired videos shared to their Instagram accounts have offered a glimpse into the big day, painting the ceremony as a scene straight out of a 1950s film reel.

In true F1 style, the pair sped away after the ceremony, with the iconic Monaco skyline as a backdrop. Their carriage of choice? Well a 1957 vintage Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, of course.

Lucky for fans, they won’t have to wait long to catch another glimpse of the newly-weds. With the opening Grand Prix of the 2026 F1 season scheduled to begin in Melbourne on the 5th March, the Leclercs will be back Down Under just days after tying the knot.

With over 3.7 million followers on Instagram, fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on Alexandra Leclerc’s upcoming race-day looks following the heights of her arresting Paolo Sebastian moment. We’re crossing our fingers that this might just be the beginning of a foray into Australian-designers for her – we can’t wait to see what’s next!
