Wildlands Festival brings sounds down South for first time this Summer

For the first time ever, Brisbane-based festival ‘Wildlands’ is coming to Perth and Adelaide in 2022, hosting some of the biggest acts in Australia.

Brought to you by the creative minds behind Beyond The Valley comes Wildlands – a Brisbane-based festival that is expanding its horizons and coming to Perth and Adelaide in Summer 2022.

After a spectacular sold-out debut in 2019 – headlined by the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Tyler, the Creator and Skepta – the festival’s second edition in 2021 doubled in size. With an extra day and second stage, the dance musical festival catered some of the biggest bands, electronic and hip-hop acts across Australia.

The Wildlands line-up continued to be top notch for the second year, with huge artists such as Lime Cordiale, JK-47, Spacey Jane, The Veronicas, Mallrat, and more.

In 2022, not only is Wildlands returning to Brisbane, but it’s coming to Adelaide for the first time ever! The line-up is yet to be announced, but if it’s anything like previous years, then the good ol’ festival state can add another cracker to its belt.

To let festival-goers know what’s in store, Wildlands Festival has posted a teaser video, sound-tracked by DIPLO’s “On My Mind”. Is this a clue? A sneaky line-up hint? We can only hope!

Wildlands is brought to you by the Untitled Group, one of Australia’s largest independently-owned music and events companies, also known for Pitch Music & Arts, Grapevine Gathering, For The Love, and Ability Fest.

The company is steadily establishing itself as the “gold standard” for music experiences globally, demonstrating a flair for world-class production and stage design.

The Grapevine Gathering – highly popular in Victoria, WA and NSW – is also spilling into South Australia for the first time in October, coinciding with the long weekend. It appears that interstate festivals are finding more and more excuses to visit the great SA, and honestly, we can’t blame them.
