Rundle Place is looking to Paris for the launch of its upcoming AW17 campaign. Launching officially on Wednesday 19 April, Rundle Place is excited to announce its collaboration with Adelaide based, internationally recognised designer Paolo Sebastian and Adelaide Fashion Festival.
The Parisian inspired campaign will see the launch of a competition for the fashion trip of a lifetime! One Rundle Place shopper will take to the skies for an exclusive trip to Paris (for 2) with a VIP showing and meet and greet with Paul Vasileff of Paolo Sebastian in his stunning Paris showroom. The incredible first prize will also include a $1,000 Rundle Place gift card to gather your travel essentials and $3,000 in spending money to create those Paris memories. To enter, simply spend $100 in Rundle Place and register at the display iPads on ground floor to be in the running!
Rundle Place Centre Manager Kate Jarman said the new AW17 campaign was one for fashion
enthusiasts and something that had never been done before.
“Rundle Place is very fortunate to have been able to partner with Paolo Sebastian and Adelaide
Fashion Festival to make this AW17 campaign possible,” Kate said.
“It’s such a strong statement for us as Adelaide’s premium CBD shopping destination, to be working
with the dedicated team at Adelaide Fashion Festival, celebrating local talent – and Paul Vasileff is
certainly testament to that.”
Designer for Paolo Sebastian, Paul Vasileff said the collaboration with Rundle Place was a surreal
“I’m very excited to be involved with Rundle Place for the AW17 campaign. I think it’s going to be
very surreal to see my dress on big banners displayed for everyone to enjoy,” Paul said.
“The fact that it’s in my home town is wonderful and I can’t wait to have the prize winners visit us in
Paris. Rundle Place is amazing and one of my favourite parts of the mall, so I’m so happy that we
were able to collaborate.”
“The dress we’ve used in the campaign images is a nod to our iconic Swan Lake gown, which in 2012
was one of the most pinned wedding gowns on Pinterest. There is over 20 metres of silk organza and
the bodice features a watercolour-like Italian embroidery in shades of iceberg blue.”
Adelaide Fashion Festival Creative Director, Chris Kontos said the major prize offered as part of the
Rundle Place AW17 launch is a once in a lifetime experience.
“The chance for someone to see what only few get to experience in the heart of fashion mecca Paris
is magical and memorable. Adelaide Fashion Festival prides itself on always offering the chance for
everyone to be taken on a journey and this collaboration and competition does all these things,”
Rundle Place shoppers also have the chance to win a classic Saint Laurent clutch, Rundle Place gift
cards and private lunch with Paul Vasileff of Paolo Sebastian with a take-home exclusive Paolo
Sebastian framed sketch print.
For those looking to work the latest styles into their wardrobes, Rundle Place AW17 Style Sessions
