This is your opportunity to taste museum wines from one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in South Australia, Poonawatta.

Poonawatta Wines are premium wines from the Barossa’s high country, Eden Valley, and James Halliday is a fan.
“The ultimate lesson from Poonawatta is the sheer brilliance of the wines” James Halliday
Their small, boutique winery only produces just under 1800 cases per year and is highly sought after by those lucky enough to have tried a drop or two of their vintages.
So it was with GREAT excitement, that we discovered they were having their Inaugural Poonawatta Museum Tasting, featuring current release and museum wines, with vertical flights going back to the earliest vintages.
This has never happened before, and may not again, so it’s like a very rare inner sanctum experience with owners Andrew and Michelle Holt, with only a hand full of guests being directly invited.
Looking at the Poonawatta website you will see that Andrew and Michelle play a very important “Custodian” role, looking after their vineyards, especially the Shiraz vines planted in 1880. This is a very rare chance to see high-end small batch wines on the property.
Luckily for wine lovers everywhere, Glam Adelaide is giving away tickets for 5 lucky couples to attend!
