The Adelaide City Council SA4QLD Flood Relief” Gala dinner & show on Friday – 28 January at Town Hall, is the hottest ticket in town this week, thanks to the generous contributions of SA’s STAR Power! Event organisers have pulled out every favour in the book to assemble an all star cast for the event’s centre piece, a Celebrity Pantomime.
The Pantomime cast includes; Isobel Redmond, Jane Riley, Bec Morse, Humphrey ‘B’ Bear, Jason Snowy Carter (Mix102.3), Kate Ellis, Kane Cornes (Port Power),Hayley (safm), Dorinda Hafner, Hans (aka Matt Gilbertson), Liza Emanuel, Jamie Lee (Next Top Model), Amanda Blair, Craig (safm), Rabbit (safm), Troy Gray (ch9), Claire Murphy (Nova), Brent Riley (Crows), Lucy Cornes, Brittany Dudley (Next Top Model), Daniel Lachini (Beauty & the Geek), Marlon (Beauty & the Geek), Callum (Masterchef), Danielle & Brad Symes (Crows), Brigette Mitchell, Kelly Nestor and Elise Griffiths.
The question now on everyone lips is who is going to play leading roles from well known fairytales: Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Alice in Wonder Land, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Goldielocks, and The Wizard of Oz
The event will also feature a first for SA – real estate superstars; Michael Brock – Brock Harcourts, Bernard Booth – Bernard H. Booth and Phil Harris – Harris Real Estate, coming together for one night only, to auction off major items with one common cause.
The initiative was the brainchild of Filip Odzak, Clr Houssam Abiad, Cassie Young, Paul Wood, Quentin Kenihan, Mel Grieg, Phoebe Sheahan, Katie Porter, Francis Wong, Ida Wong, Rosie Reichstein, Chris Cafcakis, James McRae and Dani Morris. The Adelaide City Council is the naming rights sponsor of the community driven event.
New Mayor, Stephen Yarwood said, “We are delighted to sponsor such a worthy community driven event. The line up of entertainment is exceptional and we are looking forward to hosting the event at our beautiful and historic Town Hall.”
Tickets have already been selling like hotcakes with social butterflies and the business community and now it will be a ‘bun fight’ for the last remaining tickets in the Dress Circle & Gallery Balcony Seating.
