Window wine tastings are coming to Rundle Mall

South Australia’s biggest retail destination is sparkling with new festive treats popping up across the mall each day in the lead up to Christmas.

South Australia’s biggest retail destination is sparkling with new festive treats popping up across the mall each day in the lead up to Christmas. 

Headling the malls busiest shopping period is the Christmas window displays which are about to undergo their final transformations of the season. 

The Forage Built window will add wine tastings and celebrity meet and greets this Saturday, 18th December and next Thursday, 23rd December.

 “I’ll be there all day chatting to shoppers about Forage whilst conducting some wine tastings,” says Scott Rogasch, Forage Built Founder/Director.

 “We will also have Tom Jonas and Brad Ebert from Hey Diddle Wines joining us on the 23rd from 12 pm to 9 pm.” 

The Paolo Sebastian window welcomes a changeover of gowns to one solo gown. The gown boasts over 150 hours of hand sewing and is inspired by Disney’s Frozen 2. 

Featuring hand-beaded Swarovski crystals intricately forming frosted leaves and a glistening trailed cape, it symbolises Elsa’s magical powers.

The gown was created as a part of the brand’s second partnership with Disney and was originally shown during Vogue Festival 2019.

Rundle Mall has its Christmas Cart will be in the mall from 1 pm to 4 pm each weekday, showcasing retailers including Jurlique, Adelaide Arcade gift store Have You Met Charlie? and National Pharmacies. 

The last weekend before Christmas will see things really ramp up as performances from the Australian Girls Choir continue as well as a special performance by K-Pop. 

The Australian Girls Choir is performing on selected days, bringing carols and Christmas cheer to both the young and young at heart. 

On Friday, 17th December, when the Rundle Mall trade runs until midnight, DJ mixes will travel through the shopping precinct all evening. 

Kytons Bakery will also have its famous stall in the open air. The mall’s K-Pop performance will be front and centre on Saturday, 18th December at 12pm for one hour, bringing amazing choreography inspired by the global phenomenon of Korean pop music.

Also part of Rundle Mall’s festive events is an Instagram Christmas wall and public sing-alongs. 

The Rundle Mall Christmas Windows which are already getting plenty of love and attention will be on display across the shopping precinct until early January.
