Whether or not you’re actually from Beulah Park, Bar Lune wants to feel like your neighbourhood wine bar.
Serving up “fine wine and the local neighbourhood vibes you’ve been craving,” the new venue opened on the Parade in an approachable, newly blue and salmon-tinged building where Saha once lived. With fun yet subdued blue interior, multicoloured terrazzo counters, and white-painted brick, the bar manages to look new and fresh, yet familiar all at once.
Guests can gaze at their aesthetically-positioned wine wall while they dine on small bites and mains.
For small plates, the fully licenced bar and restaurant offers dishes such as scallops presented beautifully in the shells, fig and cheese boards, salads, crusted bread, and other saucy seafood. They also have steak, pasta such as simple, glossy Cacio e Pepe, and a wagyu katsu sandwich with onion and wombok. And to finish off your boozy meal, they’re also offering dessert such as parfait and tarts with ice cream.
If you are after a wine-fueled dinner or weekend lunch with casual vibes or are keen to check out the new space’s sleek fit out, head to Bar Lune.
Bar Lune is open Wednesday to Thursday, 4pm until late, and Friday to Sunday, 12pm to late.
