Adrian Emeny, General Manager of the National Wine Centre says he is delighted to see the Wine Dinners return.
“Our Wine Dinners are a very special opportunity for the general public who may not have had the chance attended a function at our venue to experience firsthand our award winning offering, and all while getting up and close to our state’s best winemakers,” he says.
“I encourage everyone to experience them at least once!”
The dinners will comprise of a series of six events kicking off on the 15th June with the Yalumba Wine Dinner hosted by winemaker Kevin Glastonbury.
The July 6th affair will boast Annie’s Lane, Alex MacKenzie. Deep winter, July 27th will warm your appetite with Two Hands’ Matthew Wenk . On 17th August , St Hallett’s Stuart Blackwell will take to the stage.
Spring is rolling in now and the final two events will be spectacular. September 7th will play host to Langmeil’s Paul Lindner, and the 28th of September will have the flowers in full bloom along with the The Lane’s, Marty Edwards.
Whether you are a seasoned wine enthusiast, or a complete novice, The National Wine Centre’s Wine Dinners will extend your knowledge, engage your palate and enhance your enjoyment of Australia’s many wine styles.
The dinners will open your mind to our many grape varieties, wine‐producing regions and wine‐making techniques.
Each dinner costs between $80 to $90 and includes a four course meal with food matching created by “Best Caters” (Awards for Excellence, Restaurant & Catering SA 2009 & 2010), executive chef Philip Pope.
