The Pinot, one of the oldest grape varieties in the world and often overlooked for its Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon red counterparts has a die hard following.
For the drinker that looks for the pinot from a wine list look forward to August because international festival, Pinot Palooza is coming back to Adelaide for its biggest year yet.
The festival showcases wines from the finest pinot producers around Australia, New Zealand and a few more locations.
This year, they’re heading to Hart’s Mill’s The Flour Shed where 30 wineries with over 100 wines will be showcasing the best of the best in Pinot. Bar Vermouth will be returning after its successful launch last year, with all vermouths on tasting or available to purchase.
There’s going to be beer and a food lineup is yet to be announced but they’re calling it “massive”. Plus a few tunes, all to be revealed shortly.
