The much-anticipated winners of the 2023 Marananga Wine Show have been announced, and wine enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement.

This unique wine show, now in its nineteenth year, stands as a testament to the rich wine heritage of the Barossa Valley.

Hosted by St. Michael’s Gnadenfrei Lutheran Church, the Marananga Wine Show is the nation’s only sub-regional wine show. This exclusivity offers wine lovers an unparalleled insight into the exquisite wines produced from grapes grown solely within the Western Barossa sub-region.

This year’s winners, a mix of iconic names like Seppeltsfield and Hentley Farm and emerging small-batch producers, have set a new benchmark in wine excellence. These accolades are not just local triumphs; they often predict success at national wine shows, making the Marananga Wine Show a bellwether for Australia’s wine industry.

Founded in 2004, the wine show’s primary aim was to assist small producers in the tight-knit community to benchmark their wines. Over the years, it has evolved into a must-enter event for both hobbyists and established producers.

But it’s not just about the wines. The Marananga Wine Show is a celebration of community. The show features a public tasting event, held at Old Redemption Cellar, Peter Lehmann Wines, where guests can sample a diverse range of wines.

There’s also The People’s Choice Award which adds an interactive element to the Wine Show.

But without further ado….
