A cosy winter market is set to take over Brightstar Brewing and Thirty Five Stirling for a special day that’s fast becoming a Thebarton tradition. Mark your calendars for Sunday 27 July, rug up, and head to Stirling Street to get amongst buoyant crowds, browse the artisanal offerings, and grab yourself some food and drink.
The collab will run from 11am to 4pm and span both venues. Expect small business market stalls, food, live music, and winter drinks across the two neighbouring spaces.
Stalls will be curated by Sparkling Red Events, with a strong focus on local South Australian makers and designers. Stallholders include jewellery and accessory label Little Melody Handmade, visual artist and illustrator Kate Mason, and Foliage & Twine, known for their ERTH balls inspired by the Japanese art of Kokedama.
Also confirmed are The Fourth House with aromatherapy and wellness products, Homethrown by Jen’s handmade ceramics, and Inesce Jewellery with silver and natural gemstone pieces. Isla and Alby will bring bright prints and handmade accessories, while Moo Woodworking will showcase a range of timber-crafted goods.
Fox and Co Soap will also be on site with their range of luxurious soaps and face washers, and A New Leaf will offer upcycled second-hand clothing printed with eco-conscious designs.
Brightstar Brewing and Thirty Five Stirling both opened in 2022 and have since become go-to spots in Thebarton’s food and drink scene. The two venues sit side by side on Stirling Street, with Brightstar’s expansive deck and palm-lined lawn the perfect spot to soak up some winter sun.
Brightstar Brewing has built a name on its European-style lagers and pilsners. Or for the cold weather, the schwarzbier and altbier varieties are darker, more malt-forward offerings.
Next door, Thirty Five Stirling has carved out a strong local following with an all-day brunch menu, and an interior where sleek industrial design meets splashes of indoor greenery.
So no matter whether you’re there for the shopping, to catch some relaxed live music, soak up an energetic atmosphere, or grab a drink and a bite to eat, this winter market has it all.
