Following its postponement due to the recent South Australian lockdown, the Adelaide Hills Wine Region’s Winter Reds 2021 festival has been rescheduled to the weekend of 27-29 August 2021.
This year’s theme is ‘What’s Your Red?’ with wineries showcasing the best of their reds, whether it’s the familiar grapes of Pinot Noir and Shiraz, or it’s a new European varietal that may become a new favourite. Many events will involve socially distanced seated lunches and dinners, providing an opportunity to try the Hills’ world-class seasonal produce, flavours which really make the wine sing.
Although slightly different in tone due to government restrictions, the festival will still feature over 25 events to appeal to wine lovers across the state, many involving seated tastings and dinners, to adhere to appropriate social distancing requirements.
