In brilliant news this week, the Adelaide Hills Winter Reds festival is now back on the cards, and all of the reinstated events are popping up across our news feed.
With its future for this year unsure after recent restrictions, it seems the move into Step 4 this July has opened the way for some of the much-loved Festival’s events to go ahead.
We’ll be updating this guide as more info comes to hand, but for now, here’s some of what’s happening, and where you can buy tickets.
Barristers Block
FRIDAY 24th JULY 2020 – 5.00pm to 10.00pm
Join Barristers Block for one of the biggest nights on the Barristers Block calendar! Their Winter Reds Friday Winedown is always a hit, so be sure to book in for a night of live music, winter warming food and delicious reds! The wines will be pouring and the fires roaring! Free entry, however purchase of your $10 Souvenir Glass is required. To book, please call the Cellar Door on 8389 7706.
SATURDAY 25th JULY & SUNDAY 26th JULY
This Winter Reds BB are stripping it back to basics with simple, much loved winter fare. Bringing you all of your favourite Barristers Block reds, paired with a delicious menu of house made share plates and their famous stone baked pizzas. Arrive any time between 11.00am and 12.00pm for a beautiful Winters afternoon around the fire with live music.

Winter Reds Pinot Party
Help Howard Vineyard celebrate a social gathering by drinking all things Pinot: Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay. There will be casual food and platters, live music, cosy fires, and of course, a group of your best mates.
This is a general entry event, which requires you to purchase an Adelaide Hills Wine Region Reidel wine glass for $10 each, which is then yours to use on the day and take home. The ticket price covers the cost of this glass and entry to the event. Food and Beverage purchased additional. Please note; bookings are for catering purposes only. First in best dressed to reserve your spot on the lawns. This is also an outdoor event. In the event of inclement weather, the terrace will be available for shelter.
SUNDAY July 26th 10am – 7pm
Winter Reds with Howard Vineyard at Clover + Stone
Get you friends together and plan to enjoy a long lunch with Clover + Stone this Winter Reds. Be one of the first to check out their gorgeous new renovations inside the charismatic stone barn. On the day, Clover + Stone will be launching their delicious new seasonal 4-course set menu. Enjoy Winter Reds in style this year.

Winter Reds: The Lane Chalet
The Lane’s Chalet Bar is returning for another year this Winter Reds 2020!
Rug up in your warmest winter gear and defrost around the fire with a toasty mug of mulled wine. Cheese and charcuterie platters on serve all weekend along with your favourite winter reds by the glass or bottle. As always, ski wear is highly encouraged. Limited spots available. Winter Reds – A Winter Reunion
Get ready for toasty fires and soul-warming reds! With the easing of restrictions in the last few weeks, The Lane are thrilled to announce that they have been given the all-clear to host our favourite chilly-weather event, Winter Reds! While the restaurant isn’t set to officially reopen until the spring, they’ll be reigniting the stoves for the weekend to host an intimate lunch for select members and guests.
Gather with family and friends at The Lane for A Winter Reunion. Enjoy a guided shiraz tasting on arrival whilst overlooking the vineyards from the privacy of your own table. Flammekueche, also known in France as Tarte Flambée, is a regional gastronomic stone baked flat-bread from the Alsace-Lorraine region. Traditionally spread with sour cream, speck (smoked bacon), onion and baked until golden and crispy.
