Wirra Wirra launches a national campaign that encourages users to take a selfie with the Scrubby Rise bowler hat for the chance to win a trip to London, along with daily wine giveaways.

 

Don the Bowler Hat - AdeleMcLaren Vale winery, Wirra Wirra Wines, has launched an exciting new campaign, ‘Don the Bowler Hat’!

‘Don the Bowler Hat’ is an integrated campaign that incorporates above the line advertising, social media and retail promotional activity around Wirra Wirra’s Scrubby Rise label.  The national campaign encourages users to take a selfie with the Scrubby Rise bowler hat for the chance to win a trip to London, along with daily wine giveaways.

How can you enter?

You can ‘Don the Bowler Hat’ three different ways:

  • Pose in front of a ‘Shopalite’ light-box advertising site in shopping centres on the Eastern seaboard. You can then enter the competition via Facebook or by tapping/scanning your smartphone to the light-box.
  • ‘Don the Bowler Hat’ promotional kits will be available at participating retail liquor outlets nationally, and will complement in-store Scrubby Rise tastings.
  • A virtual hat can be found on the Wirra Wirra Wines Facebook page.

Entrants can then upload their selfies through this link or by uploading their selfies onto their Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #donthebowlerhat.

Entries will be judged by an independent panel of the Managing Director of Wirra Wirra (Andrew Kay), Managing Director of Singapore Airlines SA (Hugh Chevrant-Breton) and Andrew Baines, the surrealist artist who created the Scrubby Rise label.
