Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs the aim of the event to give established business owners a platform to impart gems of information to the next generation of startups and entrepreneurs.

Jo kick-starts a week of events in Adelaide showcasing the best of the best of women entrepreneurs in South Australia as part of Google’s #40forward week, challenging organisations to increase the representation of women in tech communities.

Women-led tech companies achieve 35% higher return on investment, and, when venture-backed, bring in 12% more revenue than male-owned tech companies. Yet women are still underrepresented in startup communities and Google believes there are substantive ways to be more inclusive.

Schneider, who runs a successful national business and tech consultancy, DVE Business Solutions, and multi-award winning online business, Animal Therapeutics Online, started her career as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Holden.

“I’m looking forward to telling my personal story, how I achieved 300% growth in three years and giving highly practical advice on building businesses by using technology to achieve growth, developing relationships and goal setting.”

Jason Cross, Director of Adelaide Chapter of Startup Grind says, “we chose Jo because we can literally guarantee that she will be dropping gems of practical information to entrepreneurs,” he said, “if you want to take your business to the next level, Jo is a must-see.”

Startup Grind will be held on Monday 26 May (17.30-20.30), at Piper Alderman and is $20. For tickets click HERE.
