One of our faves, Woodstock Wines, has been busy planning for next year’s celebrations. 2018 marks the 45th anniversary of the property AND the 30th anniversary of Coterie Restaurant. It’s going to be massive!
To celebrate these milestone dates, they’re throwing a birthday party on January the 12th! We’ve been promised that a night of amazing food, nostalgia, and an amazing selection of vintages from the winery will be on offer. Making this birthday one that will be remembered in history (but possibly not the next morning!)
As the Woodstock Coterie Restaurant celebrates its 30th birthday next year (which is literally less than a month away – yikes!), the Gala Dinner will reflect on the people that have helped the restaurant get where it is today. Scott Collett took over from his father, Doug Collett, a Spitfire and Hurricane pilot in WWII, who purchased the the property 45 years ago. In 1988 the Coterie Restaurant came to life with the purpose of creating great food, good company and the home for Woodstock wines.

In 2014 Chef Chris Bone was appointed Executive Chef and since then the Coterie Restaurant has re-established its original philosophy of showcasing local produce from the spectacular McLaren Vale region.
The night will host special guest Leon Bignell MP, various invited guests, media, and VIPs. Get your wallets prepper, because tickets will be released to the “Stocks Society” wine club members and the general public on the 12th of December priced at $199 per person.
