The historical Woodstock Wine Estate, which lies between McLaren Flat and Blewitt Springs, is dishing up an action-packed three days throughout the June long weekend.

As one of McLaren Vale’s most well-known and respected destinations, we’re giving you a heads up on the fantastic events on offer so you can beat the queue and book ahead.

To kick the festivities off, on Saturday 11 June, The Mac Band: The Fleetwood Mac Experience will be gracing your ears and showering you with 1970s folk-rock bangers.

Regularly performing in front of a packed audience, lead singer Juliet Oliver and The Mac Band will be returning to their local stomping grounds of McLaren Vale.

As you belt “tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies!”, you will be able to dance to your hearts content on Woodstock’s outdoor dancefloor.

While we can’t guarantee the singing guests will be in tune, Juliet Oliver (‘Stevie Nicks’) – alongside Brian Lamb (‘Lindsay Buckingham’), Elizabeth Gyorgyevics (‘Christine McVie’), Nick Knappstein, Gary Barker (‘Mick Fleetwood’), and Jessica Blaby (‘John McVie’) – will undoubtedly put on a stellar 70s/80s California sound experience.

This family-friendly event offers tickets including bus transfers, plus a gig-only option with children under 12 free. This day of food, wine and Fleetwood Mac is sure to start your long weekend off on the right foot.

Continue the festivities on Sunday 12 June with the 2022 Day Dance Festival, which this year features four wineries: Woodstock, Coriole, Simon Hackett and Paxton Winery. Tickets to Woodstock’s tours are still available:

  • Tours 3 and 4 – Where guests will alternate between Woodstock Wine Estate and Coriole Winery (departing from CBD), and
  • Get Cosy at Woodstock – Spend all day at Woodstock enjoying the live music in the morning and the Disco DJ set in the afternoon (no bus transport required).

The ‘Get Cosy’ tickets are a new addition to this year’s Day Dance – perfect for locals who want to skip the bus, go straight to the winery, and settle in next to the fire pit for the afternoon.

Day Dance at Woodstock includes three live acoustic sets from Bermuda Bay, Tilly Tjala Thomas and Lucinda R, plus a disco-themed DJ set with Combo Meltpack.

To conclude the action-packed three days at Woodstock, end with a family fun day with Peter Combe. Peter Combe is an ARIA award-winning children’s entertainer, best known for his songs “Toffee Apple”, “Spaghetti Bolognaise”, “Mr Clicketty Cane”, “Juicy Juicy Green Grass” and “Newspaper Mama”.

Prepare to wash your face with orange juice and bring the whole family down for some fun family-friendly activities including rides, entertainers & activities, together with delicious eats over two sessions.

Generations of young Aussies have grown up listening to this iconic South Australian performer. Having produced music for more than 40 years, the adults (as well as the kids) will undoubtedly be concluding their long weekend singing along to some fun nostalgic tunes.
