Cirque Africa is bringing its vibrant, authentic performance direct from Broadway and London’s West End for a national tour this November, with three shows in South Australia in Adelaide, Mount Gambier and Murray Bridge.

The incredible circus show has been met with remarkable acclaim both in Australia and globally. 2017 saw Cirque Africa crowned top selling event at the Adelaide Fringe, which led to an extended SA run much to the delight of fans.

Billed as 100% fun, 100% African, and 100% joy, Cirque Africa will showcase the skill of a world renowned troupe for a fully immersive show. Watch acrobatics and dancing, and be delighted by astonishing contortionists, all set to a soundtrack chock-a-block full of contagiously rhythmic beats.

Produced and directed by Papa Africa (Winston Ruddle), this show is an energetic two-hour burst of fun that’ll leave you amazed. Ruddle, who brought the renowned, highly successful predecessor, Cirque Mother Africa, now directs the next step in African performance art and culture, Cirque Africa.

The experienced troupe has performed to over two million delighted spectators globally, making the showcase one of the most technically excellent and well-rehearsed spectacles you’re likely to see. On top of that, the hand-picked troupe showcases the absolute best circus performers from across the African continent.

For its Adelaide date, the troupe takes on the CBD’s iconic Adelaide Festival Theatre. The electric atmosphere will fill the space in a way like no other, and you can view it all after enjoying a pre-show refreshment at the venue’s Quartet Bar.

The show has something for the whole family, and whether you love acrobatics, dancing, music, or African culture, you’ll feel a wonderful sense of joy.

As the show embarks on its epic tour across Australia and New Zealand, Cirque Africa brings unique gravity defying, colourful and spectacular flair, absolutely not one to miss!
