Get ready to beat the heat with an adrenaline-filled, splash-tastic Summer at the family-friendly waterpark, The Big Wedgie—returning to West Beach Parks this December.

Officially opening on Saturday, December 2nd, and running all the way through to April 1st next year, The Big Wedgie Inflatable Waterpark invites South Aussies to slide into the warm Summer heat, with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR inflatable waterslides set to bring the fun and excitement for the whole family.

The park’s star attraction, The Big Wedgie, is a record-holding waterslide, standing an impressive 18.2 metres high and stretching 82 metres long. Open to children seven years and older; the waterslide features three lanes at an exhilarating 55-degree slope, where participants can race against friends as they slide to the bottom—it’s like leaving your stomach at the top while your bather bottoms try to catch up!

For thrill-seekers over ten years old, The Big Chucka is the daredevil’s dream, with an almost vertical 80-degree drop, catapulting sliders up to 9 metres in the air before landing safely on an inflatable pad. If you’re scared of heights, you might wanna avoid this one, as it’s a heart-pounding, crowd-pleasing spectacle that’s not for the faint-hearted.

For those who prefer a bit more calm to their waterslide experience, the Just Right Wedgie is the go-to. Ideal for kids aged five and above, this slide offers the right mix of thrill and safety, making it a hit among younger adventurers.

Last but by no means least, The Little Wedgie, designed especially for the little ones, is for kids aged three to five years old and provides a gentle, fun-filled experience, perfect for their first sliding adventure.

If you want to make a day of it, The Big Wedgie has you covered with delicious food and drinks for the whole family, including hot dogs, Vili’s savoury pastries, ice creams, sweets and soft drinks, and also hosts birthday parties and group bookings—perfect for team bonding, end of year celebrations, or anything in between, with customised food offerings.
