The Wallaroo Shores Resort has teamed with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to rebrand the resort to Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort.

The new Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort is expected to open by 2023.

It will offer 100 villas and a host of leisure facilities including swimming pools, tennis courts, barbecue areas, a gym, a function centre seating up to 150 guests as well as a 42-seat luxury cinema.

Previously, the resort was managed by the Mantra Group. When advised for reasons outside their control, the completion of the Resort would be delayed, the Wallaroo Shores engaged with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to assist in the rebranding.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is one of the region’s leading hotel operators.

They have more than 1,700 hotels across 16 countries including, but not limited to, Australia, China, Fiji and Japan.

Being a part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the Wallaroo Resort will have access to the hospitality giant’s unprecedented level of franchisee support services and an extensive collection of resources.

Under the franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Wallaroo Shores Resort Management Pty Ltd. will manage the resort.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will conduct a hiring recommendation process, subject to WSR Management approval, for the key position of General Manager.

The General Manager will subsequently hire other key personnel within the Resort.

To ensure the property opens successfully, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will provide pre-opening support to ensure team members are best equipped to maximise the use of Wyndham’s vast array of systems.

WSR Management will now operate the Resort with Alex Paior as the sole director.

Alex’s has been the chairman of one of South Australia’s leading hospitality companies for over 30 years, he has extensive experience in Hotel construction, operations and management.

This memorandum is great news for Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort.

It won’t be long until our feet are up and we’re sipping on mimosas beachside.

More to come.
