With school holidays right around the corner, there’s no better time to start planning out how to keep the kids happy and away from their devices. Luckily, X-Golf Marion and West Lakes have just the solution, as they turn up the fun with their new school holiday family experiences.
In a move set to score big with parents, they’ve got school holiday bundles across the venues. A few of the highlights include the family booth bundle with 1.5 hours on the simulator, two pizzas, drink tokens and club hire. For a family of four, this is $159. Make this a classic booth bundle for $209, which includes an additional side dish and one beer tower or bottle of wine instead of the drink tokens. There’s also a school holiday special for $99 where up to six people can enjoy 1.5 hours on the simulator, one pizza, club hire and a drink token per person (available 10-4 daily)
There are similar deals at Hey Caddy, too! They have a school holiday bundle starting at $79 for a round of mini golf, one pizza and a drink token per person for up to six people.
Plus, they’ve also added a free Golf Ball Decorating Station to their line-up of mini-golf, state-of-the-art simulators, and family-friendly dining. This latest addition will give the kids a chance to decorate their own golf ball to take home as a souvenir. This is running daily throughout the holidays.

The new colouring station will join their long list of tailored school holiday packages, which have been designed to get the whole family involved. Unlike other venues tailored specifically for kids, having something to keep the adults happy is a major focus for the X-Golf crew. On deck is a full bar and heaps of food options, and some of the best golf simulators you can get your hands on. So if you’re golf nuts, you’ll be just as entertained as the kids as you let the simulators transport you to some of the very best courses in the world. If you’re not as crazy for golf but still looking for a bit of relaxation, there’s plenty of opportunity to kick back with a drink or two.
“School holidays are all about making memories, getting out of the house and having some fun as a family,” shared Karri-Anne, Manager at X-Golf Marion. “With our new Golf Ball Colouring Station, kids can enjoy something hands-on and creative while still being part of the golfing fun.”

X-Golf has become known and loved for its combo of sport and entertainment. And in addition to the high-tech simulators, at Marion, kids can test their skills on a 12-hole Hey Caddy mini-golf course, and at West Lakes, they can explore a full 18-hole adventure course.
Mini-golf starts from just $12 per child, and there’s also value-packed family deals on offer that combine golf, food, and drinks. Parents aren’t forgotten either, as there’s a full-service bar, tasty kitchen menu, and big-screen TVs showing the latest sports.

“Instead of being glued to an iPad these school holidays, kids are out there moving, thinking, competing, and now creating. It really is interactive fun that gets the whole family involved.” Says Manager, Daniel from X-Golf West Lakes.
So if you’ve been looking for something to do as a family, or simply something to keep the kids busy these school holidays, there’s no better time to ditch the screens, grab the putters, and tee up some family fun with a creative twist.
