It’s the time of the year when everyone seems to be escaping to Europe. Yes, we see you on our Instagram feeds – heading off to chase the sun, drink cocktails, eat fresh pita bread … okay, perhaps we’re a tad jealous.
LUCKY for us, funky new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Yiasou George is open, and has announced a party full of pita, wine, ouzo, and disco music.
The former Charlick’s Restaurant site has undergone a makeover courtesy of Sans Arc (responsible for kitting out Pink Moon Saloon) and Peculiar Familia. Think drinks, murals on the walls, and catchy tunes to match.
On 23 August, Yiasou George is urging punters to “come get tzatziki with it”. The restaurant is collaborating with local wineries Hustle and Vine and Lino Ramble, pushing the tables aside, and throwing a party for the ages.
For just $30, you’ll be on the receiving end of endless wood oven pita and wine, as well as what is anticipated to be a pretty damn good time.
Gather your mates and prepare your tummies for a whole lot of pita (and perhaps a wine as well).
When: 23rd August 6pm – late
Where: Yiasou George
Cost: $30 for endless pita and wine on entry. Buy tickets here.
You can find Yiasou George at 26 East Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.
