Yiasou Greek Festival brings the food, energy, and immense atmosphere of Greece this weekend

After a massive debut in 2025, Yiasou Greek Festival returns to Morphettville with two days of food, music, culture, and late-night party energy.

Say “yiasou” to a vibrant two-day festival returning to Adelaide after a massively successful debut in 2025. Yiasou Greek Festival brings energetic live performances, delicious feasts, and true Greek celebration to Morphettville Racecourse.

The festival runs across two epic days on Saturday 21 February from 11am to midnight, and Sunday 22 February from 11am to 9pm, with one of Adelaide’s most passionate communities banding together to show the state how to throw a proper next-level celebration.

It’s the kind of occasion that blows you away with alluring smells wafting from food trucks, performances that’ll have you moving your body to the beat, and most of all, an atmosphere that’d be impossible to manufacture.

After drawing a crowd of 14,700 people in its debut year, the festival is expected to attract another huge number in 2026 as the word continues to spread.

Food is at the heart of this festival, with Greek-owned eateries and food trucks serving everything from street food classics to regional dishes inspired by Greece’s diverse culinary heritage. Last year, 85 per cent of stallholders were Greek-Australian businesses and it’s set to become a trend.

The festival’s daytime program is designed to be welcoming and family-friendly, with traditional dance performances, artisan markets, cultural displays and relaxed dining experiences spread across the Morphettville grounds. As the sun goes down, the atmosphere shifts, drawing inspiration on Greek culture with live music, DJs and a packed entertainment schedule that runs late into the evening.

Entertainment is curated and delivered by Wines & Good Times and Kefi Entertainment, long-standing Greek music promoters with nearly two decades of experience delivering cultural events in South Australia.

Across both nights, the program packs star power and Greek party energy. Saturday sets the tone with familiar faces and big voices, led by MCs Mathew Pantelis and Valandi, alongside powerhouse vocalist Apostolis Kasparidis, whose soaring performances anchor the night. Backed by Band Kosmos, the evening flows effortlessly from live music into club-style energy, with the new Neolea Bar at Club Lago bringing DJ-driven Greek party vibes, including special guest Krazy Kon, rolling well into the night.

Sunday shifts gears while keeping the momentum high. MC duties are shared by Con Laz and Valandi, with much-loved entertainer George Kapiniaris, who you will no doubt have seen on Aussie TV. The weekend crescendos with a headline performance from Konstantina Touni, performing live with her band flown in direct from Greece.

Yiasou’s audience is also growing beyond just Adelaide, with plenty of attendees making their way from regional SA and interstate, particularly Victoria.

This year, Yiasou has partnered with Antenna Pacific as its exclusive Greek television media sponsor for 2026, available to view on MySat and Foxtel.

The festival is designed to be welcoming for all ages, with free entry for families from 11am to 2pm on both days and children aged 17 and under free all day. From 2pm until late, tickets are available at the door, priced at $20 for adults and $10 for concession.
