South Australians left heartbroken by yesterday’s announcement of the cancellation of this year’s Royal Adelaide Show are in luck, as iconic SA brand Robern Menz has announced they will create a dedicated ‘Showbag Stand’ page on their online store, so you can still get your showbag fix.
Fans will be able to get their hands on some of their favourite showbags, in eight delicious flavours:

The online Showbag Stand is currently in the process of being set up online, with sales available from as soon as next week and showbags also to be sold in South Australia’s Robern Menz retail outlets.
The brand expressed their devastation at the outcome of another Royal Adelaide Show for the second year in the running, but are keen to work with the RAS organisers to keep the show spirit alive for all South Aussies through other avenues.
As one of Adelaide’s most anticipated calendar events, thousands of South Aussies were heartbroken this week when SA Health announced at a press conference that the Royal Adelaide Show was to be cancelled for second year.
After the cancellation of the Royal Adelaide Show in 2020, hundreds of much-loved showbag varieties were also sold in OTR’s across Adelaide.
In light of the increasing transmission of the Delta variant in New South Wales, Victoria & Queensland, the decision was made that mass gathering events in South Australia must be limited for the foreseeable future, with a daily cap attendance to the Royal Show less than 10,000, unfeasible given the show’s typical numbers of more than 15,000 a day.
Show public ticket holders have been advice to return to their place of ticket purchase for a full ticket refund.
