Carclew Youth Arts has allocated more than $49,000 towards the development of early career artists and youth arts practice in South Australia through its Project and Development Grants program.
Project and Development Grant funds have been awarded to 14 individuals and/or organisations to undertake creative projects and pursue career development opportunities.
Tricia Walton, Carclew Chief Executive said “Carclew’s Project and Development Grants allow artists to pursue projects which strengthen their long-term prospects of establishing professional arts practice, often giving the chance to explore rare experiences like working overseas.”
She added “It’s always exciting to see the variety and commitment of high quality arts activity with and by young people in this state.”
Emerging artist Madison Bycroft, 25, has been granted $3000 to undertake a unique professional development opportunity in China to further her skills in installation and sculpture.
