FRIDAY
HEAD TO WEST OAK FOR AN ILLUMINATE SPRITZ

Start your weekend at West Oak Hotel, one of the delicious dining spots in the Illuminate Hosts food and drink program.
The classic pub grub will be on offer, plus a special Illuminate Spritz with Never Never Ginache Gin, and an Illuminate Adelaide x Bowden Brewery collaborative Biscoff stout. This will shift your Friday right into high gear, ready to brave the high-voltage, two-night Unsound party.
For something sweet, their $20 Belgian chocolate and hazelnut waffles, made in-house and served with vanilla ice cream, are the perfect winter warmer and sweet treat to fuel your adventure.
The $20 Spritz is just $15 during Happy Hour from 4-6pm (and all day Saturday).
Other Illuminate Hosts include 2KW, Adelaide Central Market, Aurora, East End Cellars, Monica, LUMEN Bar, Mother Vine, NOLA, Garçon Bleu (Sofitel), and West Oak Hotel.

BRING IN THE NIGHT AT UNSOUND

4-minute walk from West Oak
Just when we thought Illuminate had pulled out all the stops, Unsound Adelaide launches, a mind-bending, genre-defying celebration of experimental sound spanning two nights and across three venues.
Once you’ve warmed up with Illuminate Spritzes at West Oak, head down to Lion Arts Factory, where Friday’s marathon kicks off with a high-voltage soundscape from 7pm to 3am, complete with a no-holds-barred club set that’ll send BPMs soaring.
On Saturday, the sonic odyssey continues under the iconic chandelier at Hindley Street Music Hall before rolling into the early hours with a closing party at Ancient World.
Curated by Artistic Directors Mat Schulz and Gosia Plysa, with visuals by Helena Minginowicz, Unsound is a space where music breaks its own rules, where atmospheres pulse, genres dissolve, and the unexpected becomes the main event.
When: Friday 7pm – 3am at Lion Arts Factory, Saturday from 7pm at Hindley Street Music Hall with closing party at Ancient World
Where: Various venues, Hindley Street precinct. Lion Arts Factory is at 68 North Terrace, Adelaide
