While Adelaide has been battening down the hatches with some of the craziest winter storms we’ve seen, the guys from The Social Creative (the force behind Royal Croquet Club, Alpine Winter Village and the upcoming Good Fortune Markets), the Australian Trade Alliance and M One Eight, have been busy battling the heat in Qingdao, China, setting up a new epic party hub for the Qingdao International Beer Festival.
The Royal Adelaide Club (great name) is bringing a slice of SA to China for the month-long Festival, and is looking the goods, with construction on the 8000sqm site wrapping up last night.
The Club will feature iconic South Aussie brands including Coopers Brewery and Yalumba Wines (who incidentally are the first winery to showcase at the Qingdao International Beer Festival), Adelaide University, Stehr Seafood, Mori Seafood, and Cleanseas Seafood, along with over a dozen Fringe performers & DJs.
With over 4 million people expected at the Qingdao International Beer Festival, it’s brilliant exposure for South Australia, and it looks like we’ll be represented well. Check out some of the photos from their efforts below.
