Showcase SA International Women’s Day Lunch – Women in Philanthropy
Showcase SA’s 5th International Women’s Day lunch on Friday, February 28th, will celebrate women making a difference through charitable work. This exclusive event features a stellar lineup of speakers, including Kay Burton, Jannine Jackson, Jaylee Cooper, and Kim Vanstone, sharing their inspiring stories.
Guests will enjoy a two-course meal while connecting with leaders reshaping their communities. Open to both members and the public, and with past lunches selling out fast, this is a must-attend celebration of female empowerment and impactful change.

International Women’s Day cocktail evening
The Sailsbury Council is hosting an International Women’s Day cocktail evening for a night of inspiring conversation and celebration.
Hosted by Adelady’s Lauren and Hayley, celebrate the achievements of women past, present, and future, and hear from inspirational guest speaker, Ali Clarke. Tickets are $40 per person and include a welcome drink, canapés, entertainment and a lucky door prize.

Celebrating Radical Women – International Women’s Day Breakfast
To celebrate the successes of trail-blazing women in the arts, the Art Gallery of South Australia have curated a tremendous lineup of presenters to hear from at their International Women’s Day breakfast.
For $150 per person, or $125pp for groups of 10, the Art Gallery’s International Women’s Day Breakfast is gearing up to be one of the must-see events on the calendar.

SA Women in Wine – International Women’s Day Luncheon for Catherine House
Celebrate all things women and wine at the Strathmore Hotel on International Women’s Day eve, on Friday March 7th from 12pm.
Enjoy a 3-course lunch paired with an incredible wine selection and hear from the Queen of Fiano, Corrina Wright of Oliver’s Taranga, and journalist, wine writer and author, Katie Spain. Katie will be interviewing an amazing array of women from our SA wine community including Sarah Burvill from Bird In Hand, Kerri Thompson from Skillogalee and Steph Dutton form Penfolds.
The Strathmore will be donating 10% of ticket sales and 100% of raffle proceeds to Catherine House, a vital organisation supporting women experiencing homelessness.

Adelaide International Women’s Day Breakfast
Hosted by Senator the Hon Penny Wong and faising funds for the UN Women Australia, the Adelaide International Women’s Day (IWD) breakfast is the largest event celebrating IWD in Australia. This event was established in Adelaide in 1993 and has tremendous support from the Adelaide community raising $150,000 in 2024.
The theme for IWD 2024 was Count her in : Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress. The 2025 theme is yet to be announced.

International Women’s Day March
This International Women’s Day head to Victoria Square/ Tarntanyangga and march for safety, equality and respect, celebrating the achievements of women unionists. “March Forward”, will meet at Tarntanyangga (Victoria Square) at 10:30am on March 8th.
