Adelaide has become home to many a High Tea spots that are perfect for birthdays or just an arvo with the girls!

There’s something about drinking endless tea, bubbles and those little cucumber sandwiches that just makes you feel fancy. Lucky for us, there are plenty of places that offer High Tea around Adelaide so grab the girls, put on your Sunday best and treat yourself to an afternoon of elegance.

Mirra

Located on East Terrace, Mirra offers diners an exclusive mocktail, dessert and tea menu and encourages customers to take a break from their busy lives. With spinach and fetta rolls and grilled prawn sliders first up before heading into some succulent desserts, you need to add Mirra to you high tea list immediately.

Barossa Chateau

Wether you wish to take in the sweet aroma for fresh scones or the sights of the expansive rose garden, Barossa Chateau is the place for you. Once you’re done admiring the pristine garden, guests will be welcome with a glass of bubbles of their choice. From their you can expect a beautiful spread including, a caramelised onion tart, macaroons, profiteroles and the classic jam and cream.

Hotel Indigo’s Market and Meander

Hotel Indigo continues to be the place to be. For just $69 per person, you can enjoy a decadent serve of savouries including lobster bun, gin smoked ocean trout and Barossa ham quiche in the downstairs of the hotel. You will also be welcomed with a glass of crisp prosecco or a glass of gin if that take more of your fancy. The desserts on offer are nothing short of amazing too with the Indigo bonbon selection, airy macarons as well as the Indigo orange-almond cake.

Lenzerheide

Established in 1989, Lenzerheide offers one of the best high teas in Adelaide. Just a 7 minute drive from the CBD, Lenzerheide have a deliecous spread waiting for you. From beetroot and apple sandwiches, carrot cupcakes and a lemon, poppy seed sponge, there is something for everyone. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a glass of Madame Coco blanc de blanc or Pol Roger French Champagne if you upgrade to the premium package.

Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolate

Bracegirdle’s House of Fine Chocolate has been a staple of the South for more than 15 years, and it’s for a definite reason. From Mrs B’s High Tea to a Champagne High Tea, you will be spoilt for choice when picking your next High Tea- a fusion of old-world charm and elegance. Book in at Bracegirdle’s in Clarence Gardens, Blackwood, and McLaren Vale.

Mrs. B’s High Tea is available at all locations and items may slightly vary from store to store. Champagne High Tea is available at Blackwood and McLaren Vale only. To book, call stores directly.

Bridgeport Hotel


Relax in Bridgeport Hotel Lounge with their signature three-tier High Tea featuring locally inspired cakes and pastries, scones and cream, ribbon sandwiches, tartlets, and other tasty locally made chocolates. Enjoy a coffee, tea, or sparkling wine alongside your food.

Cielo

Tucked away in the bustling Rundle Mall, ‘Cielo,’ Adelaide’s first tearoom in over 100 years located in Adelaide Arcade will bring the area back to its roots. A contemporary tea room and patisserie, serving organic handcrafted botanicals and artisan pastries to create a high tea experience inspired by memories of Chilean Tecito ‘Teatime.’

Located in an enchanting haven on Rundle Street where you’re encouraged to unwind, reconnect, and relish in the simple pleasures; like a perfectly brewed pot of tea, enjoy tea/coffee, crostini, scones and a selection of sweet & savoury pastries.

El Limon

The place to go if you’d like to organize your very own fully inclusive pop-up French Provincial High Tea event at home. El Limon provides the crockery and table decorations, with the option of tables and chairs if required. They can also create a vintage style picnic and dessert table, and you can choose from three different types of High Tea menus that include French press coffee and gourmet tea from T-bar. Delicious treats and an awesome event made super simple.

Flowerbar Patisserie
