Here’s a guide to some of SA’s best “diamond of the kitchen” offerings this season.

Georges on Waymouth

Georges on Waymouth are serving up a winter warming special of Daylesford black truffle housemade panfried gnocchi as part of their seasonal menu. They source their truffles from a farm in Daylesford, Victoria called Truffle Treasures, which is owned by two South Aussie women.

Waymouth Street’s eleven Restaurant is hosting a special evening tour of Truffles & Red Wine through the Adelaide Hills on Wednesday 20 July from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The Tailor Touring Co.

Folks over at the Tailor Touring Co. have launched their Gourmet Truffle Hunting Experience Tour, giving South Aussie’s the opportunity to be escorted by truffle experts in collaboration with SA’s best gourmet food and wine producers in the Fleurieu Peninsula including Lovely Valley Truffles.

With only two departure dates on Friday 22 July 2022 and Friday 5 August 2022, this exclusive experience delves into The Currant Sheds specially curated menu of everything truffle so expect to see truffle butter, truffle shavings, truffle honey and truffle hollandaise with every dish. Nido

A King William Road favourite Nido has come out with a new truffle inspired gnocchi dish that plays on its modern twist of traditional Italian cuisine.
