These structures are popping up across Adelaide, offering a unique and delightful winter activity for you and your loved ones. Here’s your guide to Adelaide’s 2024 igloos!

The Moseley Igloos (Glenelg)

The Moseley has two igloos located right outside their venue overlooking Glenelg beach. Seating up to eight people, both igloos are fitted with a fireplace, Bluetooth speaker and include table service. Igloo 1 features a round dining table for four to six people, ideal for set menus and shared meals. Igloo 2 offers lounge seating for two to eight people, and a dining table for up to four, perfect for a casual dining experience.

The Coffee Institute Igloo (Walkerville)

For a casual igloo experience, The Coffee Institute in Walkerville has you covered. They offer a free walk-in shelter, providing a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy the outdoors without braving the cold and rain. This is especially convenient for dog owners who want to sit back and relax with their furry friends. The Coffee Institute is not just about providing shelter; it’s also a pioneer in sustainability and quality coffee. They recycle coffee grounds and source their produce locally. Its unique winter menu, adorned with spices, edible flowers, and herbs, showcases the Persian culture of the cafe.

Imagine settling into your own private igloo, named after iconic French ski resorts, as snowflakes fall around you and fairy lights twinkle overhead. Following its resounding success in Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney, this unique venture is set to captivate cheese enthusiasts in Adelaide.

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company Winter Dome (Barossa Valley)

Enjoy the Winter Choc Fest this July with a private chocolate experience in the Barossa Valley. The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company’s eastern lawns will transform into a winter wonderland, with four outdoor domes offering different experiences. These include: morning hot chocolate and scones, late morning melted chocolate trio grazing platter with a drink, lunch gourmet sliders and chocolate fondue with a drink, and afternoon melted chocolate trio grazing platter with a drink. Two of the domes seat four people and two of them seat eight, making it the perfect winter event to enjoy some delicious chocolate, while staying warm and cosy in an outdoor setting with family and friends.
