HOTEL GRAND CHANCELLOR LUXURIOUS XMAS IN JULY PARTY | 9 July
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why. Because the Hotel Grand Chancellor is ringing the festive season early with its joyous Christmas in July Party. In previous years the event has been an absolute hit, celebrating the mid-year holiday spirit.
The Christmas in July event will see you enjoy a 3-course meal and a 4-hour beverage package accompanied by a performance by Jungle Jooce to let you dance the night away.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY FOR UMBRELLA FESTIVAL | 9 July
Get drunk on joy (and alcohol) with hilarious comedy funk-band George Glass and DJ Santa as they hit the ARTHUR-Art Bar / Innovation district this season.
You’re encouraged to bring a can of food to donate under the Christmas tree and to dress up in your most festive outfit for a chance to win an early gift from Santa. Escape the cold while laughing at George Glass. Live music, good tidings, heaps of mistletoe!

RYDGES CHRISTMAS IN JULY PARTY | 9 July, 23 July
There ain’t no party like a Christmas in July party at Rydges which is probably why they sell out. Every. Single. Year.

SOUTH AUSSIE’S COSI JULY GALA BALL | 15 July
Radio presenter, journalist and legend Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello is trying to raise $34,000 to save SA’s iconic giant Santa in an event that will include a three course dinner showcasing SA produce, hours worth of SA wine and beers by Stonehaven, and a surprise visit from Santa. Although it’s not a surprise now… damn!
Cosi has bought the biggest Santa in the Southern Hemisphere for just $2, but it needs lots of TLC and that’s why he’s out to raise the money, to save Santa from the scrap heap.

German Weihnachtsmarkt | 16 July
This July, another Christmas tradition is making its way to Adelaide – a Weihnachtsmarkt! German Christmas markets, also known as ‘Christkindlmarkts’, have a long history in Adelaide. Most know of Hahndorf’s Christkindlmarkt, which occurs later in the year, but now the Adelaide German Club is hosting one too!
The Adelaide German Cllub are giving us a chance to wear woolly Christmas jumpers, drink hot cocoa or Gluhwein (mulled wine), and immerse ourselves in the full Wintery Christmas experience.

A 4-metre tall Santa, a Christmas turkey burger, and a newly-launched gin are just a few reasons why you should make the trip down to Thebarton this July. ‘Flavour wizard’, Elliott Kagi, is crafting a Christmas turkey burger. And, delightfully, local food vendors are lining up and will be providing different food options on the day. The event will be run in a marquee with plenty of heating to keep those winter chills at bay.

The Mawson Lakes Hotel and Function Centre are holding a Christmas in July live band performance by ABBA GOLD tribute band (the Flaming Sambucas) featuring a buffet-style dinner and five hours of the iconic pop group.
