For three days this Spring, WellFest Adelaide will transform the city into a vibrant self-care haven- with more than 70 events, here’s your guide.

WellFest Adelaide is set to transform the city into a vibrant haven for self-care and discovery, whilst celebrating wellbeing in all its forms over three days in October.  

With more than 70 events on offer, wellness seekers will have plenty to choose from with events falling under one or more of the following wellbeing pillars: mindfulness, sleep, self-care, nutrition, fitness, and connection. 

Nutrition 

For foodies, there’s plenty to indulge in. The Vera Mai ‘Moon Feast’ from Australian native food experience curator, Warndu, will be a highlight. Immerse yourself in the exquisite flavors of one of the world’s most ancient living cultures, thoughtfully paired with the fine creations of some of Australia’s most accomplished female winemakers. Celebrated author Bruce Pascoe will share his captivating tales of harvests, stars, and the changing seasons, inviting you to rediscover a deeper connection with the world of food. 

Discover the art of Ayurvedic eating to nourish your mind, body and soul during The Power of Food as Medicine, or unearth the secrets to creating mouth-watering, healthy food at home in minutes with Fast, Fresh and Fabulous Cooking. Your culinary journey to vitality and exquisite flavors awaits! 

For the business community, elevate your wellbeing at the Showcase SA WellFest Adelaide Breakfast featuring mood-boosting food expert and MasterChef finalist Malissa Fedele. Be inspired and motivated by the engaging insights of speakers Will McDonald and Tamsin Simounds and enhance your overall wellbeing, all in one powerful event. 

Fitness 

Attention fitness fanatics! Prepare to elevate your heart rate and be captivated by stunning sights during the Adelaide Scenic Electric Bike Tour– which culminates at the National Wine Centre for a wine flight and charcuterie board. Don’t miss Adelaide’s Biggest Shallow Water Aqua Class, a fabulous low impact fitness class that’s gentle on your joints but will get your heart pumping. Booty Barre awaits, which will have you grooving to disco beats while getting fit and having a blast in the process! 

The brand-new event, WellFest Adelaide Amazing Race – inspired by the hit reality TV series will take participants on a wellbeing race across Adelaide. Teams will tackle puzzles and conquer challenges at every checkpoint, in pursuit of prizes and clues to unveil their next destination. As they cross the finish line, they will be greeted Adelaide’s favourite Cosi. Ticket sales will go towards supporting the Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation. 

Mindfulness  

For a deeper sense of inner peace, try the Mindful Pot Painting Workshop presented by Paintelaide.  Immerse yourself in the therapeutic art of painting terracotta pots, tapping into your inner creativity. Don’t miss the Mindful Movement Yoga at The Light Room and connect with your body, mind and breath whilst being immersed in beautiful imagery and sounds thanks to their fabulous LED screens.  

Wellbeing seekers wanting something unique can embrace The Future of Emotional Wellness where emotional intelligence intertwines with AI. This enlightening conversation showcases a panel of Australia’s leading experts in emotional wellness. 

Discover a deeper connection with your body and its rhythms with Move with Your Cycle at Aleenta’s beautiful Pilates studio. Guided by Tayla Lovering of Wild Health Studio, this experience will take you through your menstrual cycle phases, offering personalised holistic insights tailored to your unique journey.
