This October and November, Morphettville is set to host an exciting lineup of events, including the iconic Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, November 5th. You don’t need to travel far for the “race that stops the nation” – Morphettville is the ultimate destination for live racing and luxurious hospitality right here in SA.
There is plenty new at Morphettville Racecourse this year that is going to take your spring racing to the next level. The newly opened Wolf Blass Event Centre offers the most luxurious setting to enjoy the races and soak up all the action. Plus, there will be a refreshed Croser Morphettville Fashions competition, with new categories on Caulfield Cup Day, where bright and bold racing fashion will take centre stage.
Other exciting new features include a rotating selection of cocktails, as well as a daily happy hour. For dedicated racegoers, the new 3x Feature Race Day pass offers fantastic value for Melbourne Cup, Adelaide Cup and The Goodwood, letting you enjoy multiple race days. Families are also in for a treat on Stakes Day, with kid-friendly snacks, drinks, and entertainment supported by Fleurieu Milk.

Caulfield Cup Day – Saturday, October 19th
Adelaide’s fast track to fashion is here with Morphettville’s Croser Morphettville Fashions on Saturday, October 19th, featuring a new lineup of categories, judging, and prizes. You can strike a pose with a fashion photographer on site, and dance to DJ beats that’ll be the soundtrack to your race day. They’ll have happy hour from 11am to 12pm, with a special Grey Goose Gallop feature cocktail.

Cox Plate Day – Saturday, October 26th
Cox Plate Day on Saturday, October 26th is a day dedicated to the guys! It’s going to be an epic atmosphere with free pink rose buttonholes (for the first 100 people through the gates) and happy hour from 11am to 12pm, featuring the Cox Plate Paloma cocktail. Get your mates and make the most of this fast-tracked event.

Victoria Derby Day – Saturday, November 2nd
Ladies, this is your day to shine! Morphettville says Victoria Derby Day is “demure, it’s mindful, it’s giving flirty feminine fun x monochrome moment”. On Saturday, November 2nd, embrace a chic black-and-white theme to celebrate Ladies Day and enjoy free cornflower buttonholes (for the first 100 people through the gates), happy hour from 11am to 12pm, and the Derby Day Soleil feature cocktail while you enjoy the beats of a live DJ.

Melbourne Cup Day – Tuesday, November 5th
Morphettville Racecourse is the only place to be in SA for the “race that stops the nation” on Tuesday, November 5th, as the only venue in town with all the action from Flemington amongst the excitement of genuine race day atmosphere. Morphettville will have both live racing excitement and premium hospitality options. There’s going to be free kids’ entertainment and also a ‘grown-ups’ happy hour from 11am to 12pm.
