Clare Valley Gourmet Week is back in 2025, bringing a fabulous showcase of the region and the fantastic makers, artisans, and locals behind it. In 2025, the ten-day festival will run from May 16th to the 25th, and there is heaps to check out.

Getting to Clare

Clare Valley is only a 90-minute drive from Adelaide, the Yorke Peninsula and the Riverland, and a short 60-minute drive from the Barossa Valley, so this is the perfect excuse for a day trip or to stay a few nights. There is also an Adelaide to Clare transfer bus available as a $45 add-on to the Gourmet Bus Trail tickets. Getting around

On the Saturday of the festival, there’s a hop-on, hop-off bus available. This bus service leaves from the Clare Valley Information Centre at 10am and stops regularly at each venue. There are three different routes priced at $60 per person.

While there are no Ubers in the region, both taxis and private charters are available throughout the festival’s duration.

Vino Vibe Fest at Knappstein Wines

 

While Knappstein have heaps on during the Clare Valley Gourmet Festival, one thing not to miss is the Vino Vibe Fest. On May 16th, enjoy a celebration of flavours, melodies, and good times in a soirée that promises a fun-filled evening of indulgence in the heart of the picturesque Clare Valley.

Vines and Vibes at Taylor’s Wines

 

Taylor’s Wines is bringing good times with their Vines and Vibes event. There will be tacos, cocktails, coffee, sweets, award-winning wines, local beers, and more to enjoy. Set amongst a gorgeous background with incredible live entertainment, enjoy this electric atmosphere with your nearest and dearest.

Kick*ss Cowgirls and Taco Box at Greg Cooley Wines

 

Greg Cooley Wines is whipping out the cowboy boots for one night only, as they invite you to get your crew together for a night of live music with the ‘Kick*ss Cowgirls’. They’ll be covering the likes of Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift and everything in between.

Included in your ticket price is a serving of delicious tacos by Taco Box. Plus, Greg Cooley will, of course, have their wines, local gin, beer, cocktails and more on offer.

A Feast over Fire with Mitchell Wines x El Estanco

 

Mitchell Wines is teaming up with El Estanco for the ultimate two-day feast of flames and fire! Over the weekend, Julian from El Estanco will be cooking up some delicious South American fare, which will be paired with plenty of Mitchell Wines to keep your gourmet glasses topped up. Plus, Joe Amptuch will get you up and grooving all weekend with his soulful tunes.

Burning of the Barrels at Eldredge Wines

 

Finish off Gourmet Week with the hottest event in town! Kick back at Eldredge wines in their epic Burning of the Barrels.

Enjoy finger-licking eats from Low and Slow Game and BBQ by Big Bad Wolf Catering, plus beer, wine, and live music by local legends Paul & Andy. Fire pits will keep you warm until the sun goes down and the main bonny is lit around 6:00pm.
