Possibly one of today’s hottest food items is the katsu sando, and for reasons we can certainly understand.

Katsu sando, otherwise known as katsu sandwich, is what we can best describe as a marvellous creation of Japanese art in the form of food that delivers on comfort that’s out of this world.

With crispy, perfectly golden cutlet-style meat, sandwiched between two pillowy slices of Japanese milk bread that tastes just as delicious and heavenly as it sounds, the katsu sando has made its move on the Adelaide food scene and is popping up on menus all over.

If you’re not familiar the brilliance of the katsu sando just yet, you have some catching up to do, and we’ve got a list of where to try them across Adelaide.
