To make your road trip a little easier, here’s a list of the most breathtaking locations in the Riverland and what they have on offer.

Plush’s Bend, Renmark

Only 4km from Renmark, Plush’s Bend is the perfect spot to soak in the scenery for the afternoon or camp over the weekend with the family. The ideal location for enjoying the river there’s also national parks, rose gardens and plenty of amenities within close range. If it’s a calm evening, you’ll likely get a stunning sunset mirrored off the Murray River – the perfect shot.

Lake Bonney, Barmera

If you’re a regular Riverland visitor, you’ll likely have heard of Lake Bonney. For those that haven’t, it’s the sparkling fresh water lake at the centre of Barmera. The ideal spot for enjoying on a boat or simply relaxing with a picnic and glass of wine on the banks, make sure you get a snap of the breathtaking starry night sky.

Caudo Vineyard, Cadell
