Meet the Grower, Taste the Region, Eat the Street

Tour the Willunga Farmers Market, sample products created by passionate locals and then enjoy a three-course meal at Vigna Bottin Wines. Have coffee at the farmers market and be guided around its stalls: more than 80 farmers and artisan food producers attend each week and tasting options are plentiful. Then have a private tour at Shifty Lizard Taphouse before heading to Four Winds Chocolate for a special tasting. Lunch at Vigna Bottin Wines with a feast and accompanying wine tastings.

The Long Table at Chalk Hill

Join the team from Chalk Hill for a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. Upon arrival, be greeted with an award-winning Never Never gin and tonic. Then take a seat on the deck and settle in for a four-course Italian feast curated by Cucina di Strada, the same team behind South Australian institutions Madre and Pizzateca. Guests have the option to pair the feast with incredible Chalk Hill wines, and wrap up the night with a tasty dessert and Never Never digestif cocktail.

Discover Wirra Wirra

Discover the secrets behind the Wirra Wirra’s biodynamic vineyards and learn about the winemaking and barrel ageing process with a tour of the original ironstone cellars, tasting and lunch experience. Attendees will be delighted by samplings of five top Wirra Wirra wines alongside a chocolate tasting plate. A two-course lunch from Harry’s Deli will follow, starting with a local artisan plate featuring a selection of charcuterie favourites. The main is a fresh take on the pie made famous by David Swain and Greg Trott: lamb, shiraz and kalamata olives topped with flaky golden pastry. The event will be concluded with an indulgent chocolate brownie, which is sure to leave guests feeling satisfied.

Long Lunch at Angoves

 Indulge with the Angove family in the heart of their historic Warboys Vineyard, home to some of the wine region’s oldest vines. Start your day on the sprawling lawns of the Angove Cellar Door with a glass of sparkling and immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings while the winemakers discuss their production methods. Next take a seat in the fully enclosed courtyard for a long lunch, highlighting locally sourced and foraged ingredients from surrounding areas.  Drink in the views and take time for yourself as you’re treated to this lavish long lunch.

Lounging By the Lake at St Francis Winery

St Francis Winery at Old Reynella is hosting an afternoon of live music accompanied by local wines and food stalls, right on the riverfront of their stunning property. Guests will enjoy one glass of wine from the nearby McLaren Vale region, plus a take-home glass, tasting passport of four local wines and a voucher for a plate from the St Francis spit food stall. D’Arenberg Vintage Tour and Harvest Lunch

Be amongst the privileged few to get a glimpse inside the inner sanctum and engine room of d’Arenberg’s original cellars. Join non other than fourth generation Chief Winemaker Chester Osborn as he rifles through the cellars to precure some rare museum wines as well as current releases. Guests will enjoy a multi course and shared seasonal menu prepared by the hands of SA legend and stalwart head chef Peter Reschke.
