SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS
AUTUMN UNPLUGGED AT WOODHOUSE ADVENTURE PARK
The Woodhouse Adventure Park is offering a ‘kids only’ Drop and Go day camps that offer well-designed, age-appropriate activities that is more than guaranteed to keep kids ages 5 to 12 entertained and active the whole day!
Just a 15 minute drive up the South Eastern freeway to the beautiful natural wonderland in Piccadilly set in the Adelaide Hills. The programme is running from weekdays 15th of April to the 26th (excluding ANZAC Day) with each day featuring a different theme.
So book your kids in for an adventure these school holidays!

ADELAIDE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL HOLIDAY SPORTS PROGRAM
For any Children aged 5 to 11 looking for a fun way to develop better attitudes and feelings towards others while building physical literacy, Adelaide University is running a sports and fitness program over the holidays.
While the activity will be packed with popular sports added to the schedule as well as introducing new sports for the children to enjoy, there is plenty to choose from to entertain.
Where: Adelaide University grounds
Duration: Monday the 15th of April to the 24th of April, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Cost: $65 per day plus a $10 excursion fee for offsite excursions on some days

ON STAGE SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
On stage school holiday program is back this April giving your children the chance to perform physical theatre and Acro for a 5-day intensive or chracter and story development 2 day theatre workshop.
Held in a safe and fun environment, this program give your child the toolbox of acrobatic skills to build upon in these creative development workshops.
For ages 10 to 17.

UTUMN INTENSIVE DANCE CAMP
Dancers! Do you want to elevate your training these April school holidays? Star Academy will be offering an Autumn Intensive dance camp spanning over two days. Held all day Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th of April open to all dancers aged 8-18. The program includes commercial, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, technique plus guest workshops and seminars from health and wellness professionals. Book one day or a double pass to help you reach your potential as a dancer.

Beerenberg’s Strawberry Patch is open almost everyday from November to April each year. Why not bring the kids down to the Beerenberg Cafe to enjoy freshly picked strawberries, have an icecream and visit their produce shop to stock up on all the fresh essentials.

BEEHIVE HANGS AT THE MUSEUM
Bee ready to bee-line to the iconic South Australian Museum to learn about North Terrace’s buzziest residents, in a hands-on workshop. Encourage pollination in your backyard by making a bee-themed plant pot at the Discovery Centre with Xandra from Xannie’s Bees. Learn about the resident 90-year-old bee colony living in the observation beehive. Slide into a beekeeping suit and taste some of the sweetest honey directly from the hive. This is the perfect education activity for the busiest bees.

FUN WITH FOSSILS
Uncover the past these school holidays at the South Australian Museum with a hands-on-workshop exploring the ancient oceans that once covered our own backyard. Led by palaeontologist and artist Riley in the Learning Space, level 2 explore fascinating fossil specimens that lived, died, and sunk to the ocean floor at different stages of the distant past, from ammonites and crinoids to corals. Get all of your questions answered like “How can a few teeth tell us the story of a whole animal?” and “Does everything that dies become a fossil?”

BRAINY GAMES
Interested in how the brain comprehends the world around it? During these school holidays, the Adelaide University School of Psychology has set up engaging, interactive games at the South Australian Museum as part of their scientific research. Kids and adults alike are welcomed to participate in games covering various topics, such as grasping the logic behind our thinking, expressing emotions, recognising individuals (even with differences in appearance), and making judgments based on someone’s looks.
