On Thursday 25 April, ANZAC Day services will be held across the state to thank and remember past and present soldiers who have fought, and continue to fight for our beautiful country. Not sure about where your local dawn service will be, see our guide here.

Endearingly known as Skilly, Skillogalee Estate is home to one of the most picturesque locations on our list. With panoramic views of the vineyards, the historic cottage restaurant is cozy and relaxed. Heading up to Clare this ANZAC Day? Skillogalee is the perfect place to enjoy the day off with their new autumn menu and wine-tasting experiences in the historic 1850s stone cottage!

Nestled in the cosy suburbs of Adelaide, this old-school establishment has been a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike since its founding in 1886. The Earl of Leicester Hotel is a classically cozy location and will be open from 11:30 until late on ANZAC Day, with great bar specials throughout the day.

To commemorate all those who have served for the country, all current and former service people are invited to come in for a pint of their Leicester Lager, on them!

For footy fans, the ANZAC Day AFL game between Essendon and Collingwood will be on all screens across the pub. Be ready for 2:50pm bounce.

The Griffins Hotel, located in the heart of Adelaide, on the corner of Hindmarsh Square and Grenfell St, is on the mustering route for many of those participating in the ANZAC Day March. The Hotel will be hosting a Gunfire Breakfast with Bacon & Egg Rolls, Rum and Coffee from 7am, and when the march is complete, doors will be back open for lunch from 11.30am.  

The Griffins will also be showing ANZAC Day footy on the screens throughout the day – in both the AFL and SANFL.
