What’s more New Year’s than getting dressed up, partying the night away, and doing it all again the next day? At least that’s how Wines and Good Times think it should be done. For that reason, they’ve got an epic two-day party planned, and you’re on the invite list.
Bookending the ‘Happy New Year’ chants is a dancy, yet cruisy garden party on the 31st and an energetic day-to-night party on the first.
New Year’s Eve will kick off with a stylish celebration at Morphettville’s Club Lago, and New Year’s Day will go from afternoon to evening while you move your body to a wicked lineup of classic DJs at Lion Arts Factory.
On the 31st, Club Lago will pull out all the stops for a breezy Mediterranean-inspired garden party perfect for saying a sensational goodbye to 2025. The setting will feature a sunset atmosphere, festival-grade sound, South Australian DJs, signature cocktails, gourmet food, and VIP cabanas. Get your Mediterranean white outfit on and celebrate from twilight till 1am. Audioporn, Dylan Manov, Opposites Attract, Paul Marshman, Sarez, and Souli will all take to the stage.
Souli Tsiolis of Wines and Good Times said New Year’s Eve is always a huge moment for the team. “You want to party. You want to enjoy yourself. You want to celebrate. Some people want to say goodbye to a wonderful 2025. Some people want to say p**s off to 2025 and walk into 2026,” he laughs.
The celebrations will continue on 1 January at Lion Arts Factory. The venue will become a multi-zone precinct with two stages, outdoor bars, and food trucks. It’s set to be a massive party with music pumping from 1pm all the way through to 3am the next morning. Two of Adelaide’s biggest promoters are joining forces for this event with stages by Wines & Good Times and The Front Room. Headlining are The Shapeshifters, who Souli says, have “one of the biggest songs in house music.” Of course, he refers to 2004 mega-hit Lola’s Theme, which is sure to get a spin on the night. The courtyard will host Audioporn, Ezee G, Felicity, Funk Fusion, Lesley Williams, Sarez, Seb Jay, and Souli.
Souli described the New Year’s Day show as one of the most special days in the music calendar. “I love New Year’s Day,” he said. “It’s one of my favourite shows because I always think if you start the year off well, it’ll follow you.”
