As ghouls and ghosts prepare to go trick or treating, the team from YVariety are excited to host an event aimed at young people and the young at heart in order to raise money and awareness for Variety SA and the fantastic work they do for South Australian children in need.
The Lion Hotel has been a proud supporter of YVariety over the past few years and this event is no exception with their tremendous donation of two kegs for the Karma Keg and three $100 vouchers for the best dressed on the night.
A Karma Keg is the concept whereby partygoers donate money to YVariety in exchange for a beer or cider on the night ultimately raising money while having a fantastic time doing so.
“We are excited to do something new,” says newly appointed Y Variety Chair, Josh Pugh.
“YVariety should be all about fun and exciting events for a wide audience of young people and this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see some of the costumes!” he said.
YVariety is a group of young professionals who run fun and exciting regular networking and fundraising events for under 40’s to support Variety SA and children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
All proceeds from the evening will assist Variety SA to help more children in need, for example purchasing Christmas gifts for disadvantaged children.
