Bespoke, innovative hair-art salon – Zohair – officially launches their new Norwood studio on Friday, 12th February 2021.
The invite-only event, hosted by 2019 L’Oréal Professional Colour Trophy winner, Massimo Tirimacco and makeup artist/partner, Madeleine Tirimacco, included local stylist and new Zohair ambassador, Lauren Dilena.
Madeleine Tirimacco said the new space deserved an opening.
“Our vision was always to have a minimal space inspired by that of an art gallery and the hair art that Massimo is known for,” says Madeleine.
“When you have been thinking and planning for years, you know exactly what you want your space to say… We always knew that we would do it once and do it right.”
Spectra Design assisted the Tirimacco duo with the design and layout, featuring an open and grand area with Maletti furniture and a massage feature.
Massimo and Madeleine’s partnership in life and work combines expertise of 32 years, and the move from Regent Arcade to Norwood is the culmination of hard work and persistence.
“I have had a lot of time to think about what I wanted my salon to say… it is about the art of hair and nothing else,” says Massimo.
“I am also a perfectionist – I am always pushing to better my skill set, always trying something new. I feel like a Zohair client truly loves that when they come in, we really push the boundaries and set new trends and just be innovative.”
New ambassador, Lauren Dilena, adds the Zohair role to a string of commitments including her long-time role as senior stylist for Westfield.
Massimo says assigning Lauren Dilena as Zohair’s ambassador comes from a place of great friendship.
“We have known Lauren for a long time, and we couldn’t think of anyone better suited to us,” says Massimo.
“Our ambassador is not scared to be different. The essence of someone who is truly comfortable and happy in their own skin and just radiates warmth and positivity… All these things are exactly her!”
Zohair has gained its high reputation in Adelaide’s salon space for creating a full experience, highlighting attention to detail to make a client feel the best version of themselves. Its ethos centres on the love of the art of hair, and to make clients feel like family when they are there.
The solid relationships Zohair has formed extends to its suppliers, the salon closely affiliating with L’Oreal.
Zohair salon is located at 237 The Parade, Norwood and first opened in Regent Arcade in February, 2014.
