Join the South Australian Museum for a spook-tacularly fun evening full of ghosts, ghouls, gremlins and glitter at its first ever Fright at the Museum

The 3-hour evening will host many events to get the kids and even the parents intrigued.

Explore five levels of wonder with activities spread right across the Museum:

  • Dance with their DJ and his Monster Mash up.
  • Seek out the magician before he disappears.
  • Get up close with some creepy crawly insect friends from Bugs and Slugs!
  • Get crafty and clean up with our soap carving sessions.
  • Fold on tight with Bat origami.
  • Beetle about with Scarab painting.

Scientists will be stalking the halls at night and they will be there to talk you through the ghoulish bones on display throughout the galleries.

There is also another thing to note. Costumes are highly encouraged with sweet rewards and prizes for those who exhibit the best Halloween spirit. The best-dressed award is sure to be something that everyone will enjoy.

Your ticket includes a free slushie at the door and 3 hours of monster fun that will have you wishing that every day was Halloween.

Museum Members receive a discounted ticket price and access to the frightfully exclusive Members Only area.
