The Bureau of Meteorology reports Adelaide will see a mixed week of weather ahead. The forecast will see mild temperatures with scattered showers and changing cloud cover as we move through the days.
Friday will see a maximum of 21 degrees with a few showers. There is a 50 per cent chance of rainfall ranging from none up to 2mm, but around the hills and the southern suburbs of Adelaide, showers are more likely. Winds will shift from northwesterly to westerly throughout the day, reaching speeds between 25 and 40 km/h.
Similar weather is expected tomorrow, with the temperature cooling slightly, to a high of 20 degrees and overnight lows dipping to 13 degrees. Just like today, Adelaide will see a few showers, especially in the hills and southern suburbs. The likelihood of rain increases slightly to 60 per cent.
Sunday brings a slight variation, with temperatures forecasted to remain steady with a maximum of 20 degrees and a minimum of 12 degrees. Rain chances persist at 50 per cent with possible light showers throughout the day, which are more likely during the morning and afternoon periods.
The weather across South Australia is influenced by a series of cold fronts sweeping the far south and a developing trough across the north. By early next week, a high-pressure system is set to dominate, bringing clearer skies starting from Wednesday.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued an alert for sheep graziers in the Mount Lofty Ranges, Mid North and Lower South East forecast districts. They could experience cold temperatures, showers, and strong westerly winds on Friday, leading to potential risks for livestock. A marine wind warning is also in place, advising gale and strong wind warnings across several coastal areas, which will impact maritime activities.
