Adelaide’s iconic venue, The Lion Hotel, is about to come alive with the highly anticipated Beats on Parade event. Following its success at The Feathers Hotel, the Beats on Parade team is ready to bring the house down on Saturday, August 5th.

For those who fondly remember the old days of dance parties at The Lion Hotel (formerly known as The Old Lion), this event promises to be a nostalgic journey down memory lane.

Spiros Giannos and Raffaele Russo, the driving forces behind Beats on Parade, are thrilled to host their next event at this beloved Adelaide icon. Their aim is to evoke cherished memories for the audience, tapping into the excitement and vibrant atmosphere of past dance parties held in the venue’s front bar.

“The point of difference with our events is that we carefully hand-pick which venue we want to play at, each venue is a popular landmark around Adelaide.” says Raffaele. “We have some cool venues and locations coming up from now up until summer”. 

Beats on Parade was created to give the community a sense of nostalgia from the dance tracks and culture of the old school days, mixed with new dance music for each event.

Another reason was to give those people who don’t get to go out much anymore because of adult and family commitments the opportunity to feel comfortable when they’re out with no sense of pretentiousness.

“It’s really about people coming together and just having a good time no matter who you are. We consider ourselves a tight-knit family, we have the same performers, photographers & videographers at every event,” says Spiros.

“We all look after and rely on each other, and I think this is why we are successful. Our audience can sense that on the night”. 

Beats on Parade invites Adelaide residents to join its tight-knit family for a night of music, dancing, and pure enjoyment. DJ’s Goran, G-Motion, Sassy By Nature, Conspirosy and Rob Loro on percussion will set the scene, reviving the spirit of old-school dance tracks while embracing the excitement of new dance music.

Check out Beats On Parade on Sat 5th Aug from 8pm in the The Garden Bar which is located in the courtyard. There is FREE entry, and no bookings required, however we would strongly advise on booking a table if you’re planning to have a dinner or a birthday party.
