Adelaide’s newest rooftop bar is promising some of the best sights Adelaide can afford.
As part of SkyCity’s $330 million upgrade, the bar is said to be the precincts jewel in the crown.
Sol Bar and Restaurant, named after the Latin term for sun, will be perched atop the SkyCity expansion and Eos by SkyCity.
In line with its name, Sol is said to be affording some of the best views of Adelaide with views of the sun rising in the Adelaide Hills and setting on the coast.
You’ll also have unrivalled views of the River Torrens, Adelaide Oval and South Australian coastline.
Service will be on offer from breakfast through to dinner, with hints at a menu offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and featuring an extensive list of cocktails.
The bar will be sourcing its wine from SkyCity’s master cellar that contains a whopping 7,500 bottles, with a huge focus on SA wines.
The restaurant will be offering modern Australian cuisine, where locally sourced artisanal produce will feature prominently in the a la carte menu.
The interior design is courtesy of Walter Brooke and Genesin Studio, who both boast impressive portfolios.
