AdYOs Maestro Series 2/Evenings at Elder Hall: Titan Concerts are a collaborative performance between two musically gifted groups, and on Sunday the Adelaide Youth Orchestra, teaming up for the first time ever with the University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, managed to perform a flawless concert in the stately confines of Elder Hall
AdYO’s Maestro Series will hit new heights in June with a special co-presentation with the Elder Conservatorium of Music’s Evenings at Elder Hall program - which will see the Adelaide Youth Orchestra teaming up for the first time ever with the University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra - to present two performances over one massive weekend.
In a show of strength reflective of its growing presence on South Australia’s orchestral music calendar, Adelaide Youth Orchestras' 2014 Season will be its largest ever, with more community concerts and a collaboration of ‘titanic’ proportions with the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra.
Evenings at Elder Hall continues with two magnificent concerts in August, beginning with a free concert by the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra to introduce music lovers to the rising stars of the Elder Conservatorium.
