Adelaide Cinémathèque Launches With Guns Ablazin’

Adelaide Cinémathèque, a 3-monthly programme of cult, classic, foreign language, experimental, documentary, silent, independent, short & premiere films has arrived!

Each year, the Mercury Cinema presents Adelaide Cinémathèque – a 3-monthly programme of cult, classic, foreign language, experimental, documentary, silent, independent, short and premiere films hard to find elsewhere. In other words, cinema worth seeing.

Adelaide Cinémathèque is a film society, so you can’t just purchase a single ticket but there are several options to let you experience some of the great films on offer. Check out the ticket and membership options on the Mercury Cinema website.

For the first quarter of 2016, Adelaide Cinémathèque is presenting several themes including a selection of 1950s western movies under the umbrella title of Ranch Nights.

Check out our happy snaps below of the Cinémathèque launch on 4 February 2016 which included a Tex Mex BBQ and a screening of the classic Barbara Stanwyck film, Forty Guns.
